The tablet is currently suffering a performance setback and the delay in delivery is another factor to concerns the Users. The cost of Aakash 2 is Rs 2,276 per unit of which the central government will bear half as a subsidy for the tablet and the rest money will be collected form state governments and Institutions distributing Aakash 2.
