Aakash tablet specification shows that it have only Wi-Fi support for the connectivity in the starting, this raises few concerns among the people as India is still suffers from Internet connectivity, Wi-Fi seems to be a distant dream as most of the persons in rural don’t even know what Wi-Fi actually is. With this concern of the connectivity of Aakash on Wi-Fii issue union Minister Mr. Sibbal says that the government is working on raising the fundamental infrastructure of country and is trying to increase the Wi-Fi spots. Also free content will be provided with the tablet from various government portals.
Aakash will enhance rural infrastructure
The government has planned to setup many new hot spots for Wi-Fi all over the country especially at the rural area where there are very feeble chances of already presence of Wi Fi connectivity to make the content available to the Aakash tablet users. The government had also collaborated with few companies to enhance the functionality of the tablet and to provide much better infrastructure so that this tablet may not be just a useless BOX. Well the government schemes are yet to be implemented the aakash had already shown his presence by getting a huge number of searches in Google.
A new gadget of Indian Public
This will boost up the enthusiasm in the young students at the distant villages who will be revived with the touch of latest technology at the cheapest price. Mr. Sibbal has also praised all the students and engineers whose hard work had made this distant dream possible and hoped that it will revolutionize the educational system from the grass root level. Few more IIT’s and other premier Institutions of India will be bring into this project to bring the cost further down and to increase the functionality of the aakash tab.
